One species of bat new to science and seven bat species new to Myanmar have been collected by the Darwin team

The views of local people about bats
have been collected

The inter-relationship of human/bats have been studied, for example the guano industry

Many caves have been recorded,
measured and mapped

Threats to wildlife are being assessed

A core group of Myanmar bat scientists is being established
