Dear Friends and Colleagues

Latest news - In order to maximise opportunities for combining some field work with the lectures, presentations, and discussions at the Congress, we are moving the meeting to the exceptional Khao Lak Laguna Resort.

Situated 70 km north of Phuket on the shore of the Andaman Sea and with forested hills behind, this resort meets all our needs for the conference whilst at the same time being a short distance from the spectacular limestone karst of Phang-nga, with its three national parks (Khao Lak-Lamru; Khao Sok; Ao Phang nga) and outstanding scenery.

***

This congress is the first organised specifically for Southeast Asian birds. It is our hope that it will become a regular event in the region in future years.

If you are interested and would like to join us, please follow the instructions at Registration and we look forward to seeing you in Khao Lak in November, 2012.

with best wishes
